First Class Design
Light-Weight and Space-Saving
The small, space-saving design of ALLEGRETTO WAVE® laser systems has already won numerous design awards.4

Fitting through standard doorways, the systems can be accommodated even in the smallest operating rooms. Compared to other systems, these lasers are light-weight and also suitable for historic buildings.
Expensive architectural changes to the operating room are, in most cases, not needed, because of the lasers´ sealed beam path, which is just one of the reasons for the laser systems' tolerance towards humidity and temperature fluctuations.
Cross Line Projector
Precise Centration
Finding the eye's correct treatment position is one of the most important factors in obtaining an excellent refractive outcome especially in high astigmatic corrections.
The ALLEGRETTO WAVE® Eye-Q laser’s integrated cross line projector provides the surgeon with an exact alignment of the head's and eye's position. The target diode which generates a red light cross on the patient's face shows the right position in horizontal and vertical direction coordination with the manual marks.

Correct height alignment is reached with the two precise distance laser diodes (z-alignment).
Additional Equipment
Comfort, Practicality and Ease-of-Use
ALLEGRETTO WAVE® laser systems offer many features that support comfort, practicality and ease-of-use.
The integrated plume evacuator removes fumes and odors which protect the respiratory tracts of patients and surgeons.
Considering every aspect of the refractive procedure, the ALLEGRETTO WAVE® laser systems contain a built-in slit lamp.
There is no need to move the patient into a different room in order to check the flap position, the interface, or to perform a flap re-lift.
A 100 W, ultra-bright xenon light source provides excellent illumination.
The optional uninterrupted power supply (UPS) delivers reliable performance, even under unreliable environmental electrical conditions or loss of power.
In order to maintain highest possible hygienic standards, all parts of the laser system that might be touched during surgery are fitted with sterile caps.
